FamiliesETC now provides Professional Wraparound Services.

Wraparound is care for children with serious emotional challenges AND their families.  The Wraparound philosophy began in the 1970s as a response to the rigid treatment, indiscriminate institutionalized placements, and failed outcomes for these families and has grown to a national model of success.

Wraparound develops a collaboration between the family, professional providers, and the community.to provide care which is:

• Strength-Based
• Individualized
• Family-Driven

Wraparound Services meet the needs of McHenry County children by helping to:

• Prevent expensive, out of home placements (hospitalizations, incarcerations, etc.)
• Reduce juvenile crime
• Improve school performance
• Involve the entire family in the child's behavioral health
